Winter Operation

n  Cold external air is pre-warmed with Ground Heat  (heating air to over 0C even at very low external temperatures)

n  The Ground-Air Heat Exchanger eliminates the need for a defroster on Heat Recovery Units

n  Heating costs are reduced when used in conjunction with a Heat Recovery Unit.

n  Hot external air is pre-cooled by the Cool Ground, cooling the building

n  Can eliminate the need for a conventional air conditioning system (reduces investment and energy costs)

n  Result: pleasant room climate

n  Condensate is collected and drained off in a Condensate Collection Pit (laid in the ground) or through the drains within the building
